SCCB was able to help take concept to reality in the design and installation of this new cafe’s service bar & seating area. Our experience working with wood, metal and stone really came through on this project. Breeze block veneer on the bar area, custom butcher block top, tile back splash, steel framed mahogany bench and corner booth, table tops, floating shelves, hand rail eating bar, etc.
SC Custom Builds was brought in by our friends at Ledge Brewery in Intervale, NH to help finish the private events space in 2022. This involved a new walk-in cooler for kegs, built to their specs. Also an adjacent service bar area, with tap window and some reclaimed metal panels we had on hand.
SC Custom Builds was brought on to bring new life to this office & reception desk for a local doctor’s office. Out with the old, and in with all custom new. We used mostly plywood & butcher block to create ample storage and work spaces. Fun project, very happy with the way it all worked out.
An industrial/redhook/mad men take on a home office space. Insterad of common drop-in ceiling, ee opted to leave it all exposed and paint it flat black, less HVAC. Faux brick panels came out nice. The obvious pièce de résistance here is the full wall custom built in shelves. The right half of which opens up to reveal utilities. Stained knotty pine boards for
Feb. 2022 – Knee walls all around, sheet rock with plywood access doors, vaulted bead board ceiling, some custom built-ins by request, re-framing some common rafters to gain access to a gable wall for window install over built in bench detailed trim all around. All work, less electrical & carpet, by SCCB.
Replaced a tiny, awkward back yard deck with a much more suitable family space. PT framing and railing system with horizontal stainless steel cable. Synthetic decking. Dog gate and built in bench.
This is an 800 sq.ft. basement finish done winter 2021/22 in a 2019 new construction home. LVP flooring, all sheet rock & trim work work, custom built-ins all around by SCCB. A great space to house an even greater family heirloom, The Rock & Roll collection & ‘shitshot’ cafe.
Spanish tile install in this super cute entryway. A separate crew came in and replaced the doors & windows allowing SCCB to focus on leveling the floor, rehabing the built-ins and new paint all around.
A friend was gifted some cedar slabs from her family’s camp property on Vancouver Island. I was happy to be able to help her turn them into a beautiful bar top for her kitchen renovation in late 2019.
This fun little built-in was part of a much larger kitchen remodel by SCCB during 2020. Almost all wood was reclaimed pine out of old barn sheathing. A great little space that took the place of a very tiny pantry closet.
A total remodel with custom shower with glass walls & door, heated tile floor and sleek corner vanity, built-in storage drawer utilizes space under shower bench.
Moving the vanity across the room and into the corner was a sacrifice made to accommodate a larger, walk in shower. A worthy sacrifice in this home owners opinion.
Wood shelf in shower is an exotic hard wood named Iroko. Custom water shedding mill-work and a many coats of a penetrating marine grade epoxy.
This bathroom remodel was in a 100 year old home and had all of the classic issues. Plumbing crazyness, severed joist, crooked floors… I really had to reinforce one specific floor joist with some steel C channel going to a custom header. Custom tiled shower, beautiful large tub, custom vanity and some built[in shelving on the exposed cast iron piping. Over-all, creative design and attention to detail made for a nice little bathroom that makes the most of its limited space.
This custom deck was built by Sean & co. while living in Seattle from 2017-2020. It includes all Western Red Cedar construction, a built in bench and a custom fabricated steel frame for a roofed upper area. Adjacent fence also by Sean. The window on upper deck did become a door.
