SCCB was brought in as a sub-contractor to frame this addition in Hampton Falls. Our scope of work took us all the way to exterior finish. Windows, siding, trim, etc. Always happy to work with and alongside some of our great local builders.
SCCB was brought back to this property to completely update the detached garage. This included removing all wall sheathing (old t1-11), replacing with new zip board, adding a large dormer to the second story to increase living space, new windows all around, new cedar clapboards, cedar shakes, some shake art, and a lean-too storage area out back.
Home owner provided all the material needed on this one, including the dipped cedar shakes. House has slowly been resided over the years and SCCB was brought in to finish the final two sides.
Feb. 2022 – Knee walls all around, sheet rock with plywood access doors, vaulted bead board ceiling, some custom built-ins by request, re-framing some common rafters to gain access to a gable wall for window install over built in bench detailed trim all around. All work, less electrical & carpet, by SCCB.
Typical rot repair job here. We exposed the rotten wood, removed all of it, patched it back up and replaced the necessary siding. With good flashing, caulking and paint, this repair should last for years. The window was fine to stay.
Sean was brought on to help this complete remodel of a job site just outside of Strawberry Bank in Portsmouth, NH by a local framing crew.
This aspect of the project involved re-framing and moving of over 40 windows to accept the new design and the new larger windows.
A separate crew was responsible for preparing the new frame for sheathing.
Well we knew what we were getting into on this one. The rim joist had rotted all the way through to the basement. With that being said, in a single day of good weather in December we were able to remove all of the rot, up and out, and replace everything with minimal intervention. We left it water proofed & ready for that new deck, which we will do in the spring.
